I was amazed to discover that, though I am Jewish, I could accept in good faith, all your goals as my own and all your academic endeavors equally.
I was one of the translators of the last group of manuscripts which were made available to us in 1990 (R. Eisenman and M. Wise, “The Dead Sea Scrolls Uncovered”) I was an assistant of R. Eisenman. I will be teaching a course on the Dead Sea Scrolls beginning September 12 as part of the Grand Learning program in Sun City Grand.
I am also writing a book on the Jewish presence in the New Testament (the Sermon on the Mount, the Lord’s prayer, the Pharisees, chapter 11 of the Epistle to the Romans, etc.)
AND I hope to see you this coming Thursday at Luke Air Force base.
Shalom!
Thank you, Rabbi Abrami for your encouragement! I greatly enjoyed you at the Holocaust day of rememberance on Luke Air Force Base. It is wonderful to engage and learn from one so-well informed historically, philosophically, and Bibilically. I look forward to your forthcoming lectures on the Dead Sea Scrolls; and will encourage my congregants to attend.
